Bradford AFC vs Peterborough United preview - Luke James to miss out against his parent club

Bradford striker Luke James will play no part in the home game against parent club Peterborough.

James, who stepped off the bench in last Sunday's home draw against Sheffield United, joined the Bantams on a season-long loan from Posh in July and will not be included.

Manager Phil Parkinson has no new injury or suspension problems and has the luxury of several selection dilemmas as his side bid to extend their unbeaten run to six matches.

Striker Steven Davies, midfielder Billy Knott, goalkeeper Ben Williams and defender Tony McMahon are among those pushing for recalls. Billy Clarke and Filipe Morais both remain sidelined with long-term knee injuries.

New Peterborough manager Graham Westley is set to be without the suspended Jermaine Anderson after the club's appeal against his red card failed.

Anderson was sent off during their 1-1 draw with Walsall after the midfielder appeared to throw a water bottle into a section of the crowd - an incident that was spotted by the fourth official - and he will now serve a three-match ban.

Central defender Jack Baldwin made good progress in his recovery from a long-term injury by turning out for the development side on Tuesday, while Posh were also boosted this week by the loan extension of Leicester defender Callum Elder.

Westley is preparing for his first game in charge of a side that has just one win in their last eight games in all competitions.
