St. Mirren vs Raith Rovers preview - St Mirren sweating on Paul McMullan and Stuart Carswell

St Mirren hope to have Paul McMullan and Stuart Carswell available after injury for the visit of Raith.

However, Jason Naismith continues to be out with a knee problem while Steven Thomson will have a fitness test.

Manager Ian Murray is looking for his side to put in a 90-minute performance.

Murray said: "We had probably the most cohesive 45 minutes of football we have played against Falkirk last weekend but unfortunately the second half was not so good and we lost.

"However, if we can be as cohesive for the full 90 minutes as were for the first 45 last weekend then we can beat Raith Rovers."

Knee injuries keep Craig Barr and Lewis Vaughan out for the visitors, with a shoulder problem seeing Ross Callachan remain on the sidelines.

Raith manager Ray McKinnon said: "We will be facing a very determined side that will be out to make amends after letting a two-goal lead slip.

"We have done well at home this season but not done so well on the road and it would be great to get our first points of the season away from home.

"We can do it especially if we build on a good win over Queen of the South last weekend, however we need to be wary of St Mirren."
