Carlisle vs Plymouth Argyle preview - Wyke in line for Carlisle return
Posted Friday, April 17, 2015 by PA
Carlisle striker Charlie Wyke will return to contention for the home game against Plymouth.
Wyke missed the midweek draw at Burton due to a knock sustained in training, but he will be available as the Cumbrians bid to guarantee their safety.
If the bottom two fail to win and Carlisle secure three points, Keith Curle's side will be assured of their place in the Football League next season.
Troy Archibald-Henville misses the rest of the season through suspension and fellow defenders Sean O'Hanlon (head) and Patrick Brough will be monitored after both received treatment at Burton.
Plymouth have no fresh injury worries as they make the longest away trip of the season.
Boss John Sheridan admits that striker Reuben Reid has not been at his sharpest after struggling with a foot injury but he is expected to partner Lewis Alessandra once more at Brunton Park.
Midfielder River Allen has been told his season is over after undergoing knee surgery. The 19-year-old had been on loan at Truro.
Tuesday's midweek draw with AFC Wimbledon means Argyle currently occupy the final play-off spot in League One heading into the last three games of their campaign.
