Sheffield United vs Peterborough United preview - Kennedy out for Blades
Posted Tuesday, March 03, 2015 by PA
Sheffield United defender Terry Kennedy is expected to miss the home game against Peterborough.
Kennedy sustained a minor knee injury in Saturday's draw at Crawley so Kieron Freeman could return to the starting line-up.
Striker Marc McNulty is pushing for a recall to the starting XI after shaking off a knock in time to strep off the bench at the weekend to convert the equaliser from the penalty spot.
Midfielder Stefan Scougall (knee) and forward Michael Higdon (hamstring) are still injury doubts.
Caretaker boss Dave Robertson is hopeful that Conor Washington and Marcus Maddison will both return to the Peterborough squad.
Forward Washington has been out with a back injury while playmaker Maddison has been nursing a dead leg recently.
Aaron Mclean will come back into the reckoning after the on-loan striker was ineligible against his parent club Bradford on Saturday.
Robertson, who won his first game in charge 2-0 against the Bantams, remains without long-term absentees Jermaine Anderson (toe) and Jack Baldwin (knee).
