Nottingham Forest vs Sheffield Wed. preview - Wilson worry for Forest

Nottingham Forest will check on Kelvin Wilson ahead of the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

Wilson has been struggling with illness this week and with fellow centre-half Michael Mancienne still out injured, Reds boss Stuart Pearce will have his fingers crossed that he recovers in time.

Jack Hobbs came through the full 90 minutes unscathed in the FA Cup defeat at Spotland, on his return after over three months out with an ankle injury. He looks certain to keep his place in the starting line-up, particularly if Wilson is out.

Full-back Todd Kane is added to the squad following his arrival on loan from Chelsea but Henri Lansbury, scorer of the winning goal in the reverse fixture at Hillsborough in August, will complete a two-match suspension while Andy Reid (groin) and Matty Fryatt remain injured.

Wednesday's new teenage loan signing Lewis Baker is hoping to make his debut for the club.

Boss Stuart Gray must decide whether to start with the Chelsea midfielder, an England Under-20 international, or include him on the substitutes' bench.

Goalkeeper Keiren Westwood is expected to return to contention after missing last week's FA Cup defeat at Manchester City due to a calf strain, but Chris Kirkland is hoping to retain his place.

Defender Kamil Zayatte, yet to start following his recovery from a long-term hamstring injury, is on African Nations Cup duty with hosts Guinea. Gray has no new injury or suspension worries.
