Raith Rovers vs Cowdenbeath preview - Nade boost for Raith

Raith Rovers hope to include striker Christian Nade in their line-up against Fife rivals Cowdenbeath at Stark's Park after he recovered from a knee injury.

Goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert continues to be sidelined after shoulder surgery and defender Craig Barr is still absent following a knee operation as the Kirkcaldy side look to win for the first time in seven league games.

Manager Grant Murray said: "We went to Hearts last weekend and despite losing 1-0 there were a lot of positives to take from the performance.

"If we can repeat that against Cowdenbeath then we have a good chance of picking up the three points."

Cowdenbeath are again without the injured quartet of John Armstrong (ankle), Kenny Adamson (foot), Sammy Stewart (groin) and Declan Hughes (ankle).

Manager Jimmy Nicholl is demanding a 90-minute performance from his side.

He said: "Last weekend we started really slowly against Hibs and found ourselves two goals down by half-time. We never competed at all but after a bit of a blast at half-time the players went out and showed how good they could be.

"Raith Rovers have not had the best of results recently and we can keep their disappointing run going if we put in a full performance and not just half of one."
