Mansfield Town vs Carlisle preview - Lambe in Stags squad

Mansfield hope to include new signing Reggie Lambe in their squad for the visit of bottom club Carlisle.

Lambe agreed to join the Stags last week but the club are still trying to sort international clearance for the forward from Swedish side Nykopings BIS.

Although Paul Cox has one or two players nursing knocks and bruises after the midweek win over Morecambe, John Dempster (groin) and Luke Jones (ankle) look like being the only players unavailable to the Mansfield manager.

Both defenders are still around seven to 10 days away from returning to training.

Carlisle's new teenage signing Hayden White could go straight into caretaker boss Paul Thirlwell's side as they chase their first league win of the season.

Defender White, 19, has joined from Bolton in a one-month emergency loan deal and could be included in a back line alongside Troy Archibald-Henville, who is expected to return to the starting line-up.

Archibald-Henville made his first appearance of the season in last weekend's home defeat to Bury after a shin injury but was rested for the midweek loss at Shrewsbury, where Thirlwell was sent off.

Thirlwell sits out a one-game ban while defender Sean O'Hanlon faces a late fitness test after missing out on Tuesday night due to a toe injury sustained in training.
