WOLFSBURG have emerged as admirers of Chelsea's unsettled winger Kevin De Bruyne, but stand firm on their transfer conditions.

The Bundesliga outfit are interested in taking the Belgium international on a straightforward transfer, but are also open to a loan if the deal included an option to buy.

De Bruyne has struggled to break into the first team at Chelsea so far under Jose Mourinho and spent last season out on loan with Werder Bremen following his £6.7million move from Genk in the summer of 2012.

The 22-year-old's chances of playing in Brazil's World Cup next summer are on the line and needs to play regular football, which he is unlikely to get achieve at Stamford Bridge.

Fellow Belgian and Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard has urged De Bruyne to leave the Blues to ensure he is impressing Belgium boss Marc Wilmots week in, week out.
