Yet just 24 hours later he began his relationship with another brunette — telly’s X Factor judge Tulisa, friends have revealed.
Last night Jenny, who has bedded a string of footballers including Simpson, Wayne Rooney and Mario Balotelli, said: “It’s a bit playboy really. I would say to Tulisa ‘Watch out’, because he’s not exactly loyal.”
Simpson contacted Jenny, his former lover, from his room at his team’s hotel the day before their Premier League clash at Liverpool on November 4.
