I’m not sure Luka will stay

FEARS ... Harry Redknapp
He declared: “I would be lying if I said I was sure Luka will stay. You don’t know. It was vital we kept him last summer. But I don’t think that we will have to do the same as we did then with Gareth Bale.
“It’s different with Luka. But I certainly would not see Gareth Bale wanting to leave. At this moment he is happy, a big fish here. He is still learning the game, a young boy, and this is where he needs to be. You would like to think Luka will still be here, though you never know.”
Redknapp also believes Tottenham should be guaranteed a place in the Champions League if they finish fourth, no matter whether Chelsea win the tournament or not.
UEFA have said only four English teams will be allowed to compete in Europe’s premier event next season, meaning whoever finishes fourth will miss out if Chelsea beat Bayern Munich in the May 19 final.
Yet Redknapp is adamant England should deserve five clubs through if Chelsea manage to win in the Allianz Arena but finish only fifth or lower in the Premier League.
He added: “It shows you the strength of our league. I don’t see any reason not to have five English teams in it.
“I don’t know if they will change it. You know what it’s like with people changing rules. Yet one rule that should be changed is lads banned from the Champions League final for so many bookings should be allowed to play.” Redknapp, whose side entertain Blackburn today, agrees he would be down in the dumps if Spurs blew a Champions League spot after being tipped as title contenders for much of the season.
He said: “I’d be disappointed because of where we have been.
“If we can win all our games, we finish above Chelsea. And Newcastle have to go to Chelsea and play Manchester City. They’re tough matches.”
