Porto's Hulk admits January transfer could happen

Porto star Hulk has stated that he is happy to stay in Portugal, although he admitted that he would consider a move away in January should the right offer materialize.

The Brazilian's goalscoring exploits in Oporto have attracted the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs. A reunion with Andre Villas-Boas at Chelsea has been mooted, with a statement from the player's agent adding fuel to the fire.

Speaking on Saturday to Record, Hulk refused to confirm or deny whether he would be leaving in the next month, only saying that nothing was for certain.

"We never know what is going to happen tomorrow," he told the newspaper.

"I have four-and-a-half years left on my Porto contract but, as I have always said, if some day something good for me and for the club appears, I think there will not be any problem and a deal will be reached.

"As long as it is amicable and good for everyone, I believe it will be concluded without any problem. If I do not leave, then that is fine."

The former Vitoria player did state that he was happy to keep living in Portugal, where he felt at home and comfortable.

"I am fine here, I am happy here, my family likes living here. I like the city of Oporto and I really like Porto," he explained.
