CHERYL Cole is facing a dramatic showdown with love-rival Playboy model Kayla Collins over the singer's ex Ashley.

Kayla, 24, wants to meet the Girls Aloud star to demand: "Tell me the truth about you and him."

I'm A Celebrity babe Kayla, who had a much-publicised fling with Chelsea ace Cole, met up with him again at the Playboy mansion at the end of June.

Pals said they were "getting on great" until she heard that Cole, 30, went to Cheryl's birthday bash days later.

A source said: "Kayla is confused and angry about the situation and wants to talk everything through with Cheryl.

"She wants to know where she stands. And she wants it from the horse's mouth, not by trying to work out what is happening through gossip columns.

"She is keen to look her in the eye and find out the truth. It's all a bit of a mess."

Cheryl, 28, flew to Los Angeles with Girls Aloud pal Kimberley Walsh and has spent time recording material in a studio at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, where they have been staying.

Kayla was pictured at the hotel on Thursday night and at a private party hosted by US rapper Pharrell Williams, hoping to track Cheryl down.
