PARIS (AP)—Lens striker Toifilou Maoulida has reportedly said he is considering a move to the Premier League, with Wigan, Stoke and West Ham all apparently interested in signing him.
The 30-year-old Maoulida has scored 20 league goals in 62 games since joining Lens from Auxerre. He also had spells with Marseille, Rennes and Montpellier.
Maoulida said Sunday on the Web site of sports daily L’Equipe that “if an English club offers me the possibility (to play), why not.”
He has started only six league games for Lens this season after the arrival of Brazilian striker Eduardo.
