Off the back of the Olympic golf tournament, and with valuable Ryder Cup points at stake, players looked forward to the Czech Masters in Prague on Wednesday (17th August).

I think this does nothing but good for the game, and if you think about probably two billion people watched the Olympics or even more so it was an unbelievable experience, unlike anything I've ever done. "I've had lots of conversations with Darren (Clarke) and he said at the start of the year you know show me some form, and I've played pretty well all year. You know second in the Masters and a few other top tens so I played well in the Majors, played pretty good at the US Open so you know I just want to try and keep playing well and be in form should I get picked for the Ryder Cup."

"You know obviously for me it's massive you know, and I think you know to give myself the opportunity I have now I really want to go out there and finish it off. I think it will mean a hell of a lot to anyone that can you get the chance to represent your continent so for me it's going to be massive and hopefully I can get the job done this week and relax and play the next few weeks without thinking about it."

"I tried the pilsner. It's something to get used to. It's a little different for me, but beer is beer. My favourite is Miller Lite at home, but if I've got to drink some other beer I don't have a problem drinking other beer. I'm not a big dark beer drinker. I'm more of a light, more of that pilsner type style, but it's very good."
