(On making playoffs)

"I mean, it's challenging. It's going to be challenging. But, I mean, we believe that we can do it. We feel like we can do it. When you look at 12 through six (seeds), seven in the East (Conference), five in the East (Conference), I mean you're not that far off. Even though we're 12, we got to put some games together, win some games and we'd be right there. But we just got to do it. We can't talk about it. We got to do it."

(On his rookie season and team's recent struggles)

"As you seen, it's been ups and downs. Coach (Derek Fisher) got fired. My own performances have been good, bad and I'm trying to find that consistency. And I think that will help the team to find better rhythm and a consistency knowing that they can trust me every game. And I think we're growing as a team but this last stretch wasn't too successful for us. Obviously we weren't playing well and now we want to find a way to win games again, the way we were playing the first part of, I don't know, maybe the first 40 games or less. And we just want to get out there. We have a new coach (Kurt Rambis). We know we need to change. It's on us now to play our game."
