  • David Haye, former heavyweight world champion, Mark de Mori,

SOUNDBITE (English) David Haye, Former WBA heavyweight champion (on making a return to boxing):

"I'm excited. A lot of hard work has been done. I did my last hard session last night and I'm feeling good, I'm feeling sharp. The timing feels good. Rhythm, movement, everything is where I want it to be. I'm anticipating a tough fight but a good fight. Mark de Mori's had had plenty of time to prepare for this fight."

SOUNDBITE (English) Mark de Mori, Heavyweight boxer (asked if he can take advantage of Haye's break from the sport):

"I really can't say yes or no. All I know is that if his reflexes aren't as sharp or I see his shoulder's not there or he's got a cut, fantastic. I hope he's not the same guy, I hope he's still got injuries but you can't go into a fight worrying about that. I've prepared myself, I've watched his style of course, I know what he does, he's very slick. But I've also focused on myself and prepared myself for any version of David Haye."

SOUNDBITE (English) David Haye, Former WBA heavyweight champion (on fighting again and his future in boxing):

"It's a massive achievement and if you knew where I was a couple of years ago then just to get here, to get through training camp in tip top condition, ready to fight is a major, major achievement for me. But I'm not looking back at those negative times, I'm looking towards the future now. Now that I'm here and I'm fit, I'm not worried about the old days. I'm worried about what I can do in this fight and in fights moving forward."

Question: "What do you think you can do?"

Haye: "I believe I can regain the heavyweight championship of the world. I believe I can do that. I've done it at multiple weights. I've fought big guys before, the biggest heavyweight champion in history Nikolai Valuev. I've beaten them big, I've beaten them small, the cruiserweight titles. I've done everything there is to do and I want to do it again. I'm a little older now, a little bigger, I don't believe I've lost any speed or athleticism. Only time will tell. After Saturday night we'll know exactly what's left."
