Monday, October 26 2015 by SNTV
  • Early success for Indonesia and Malaysia on final day in Paris.

    Script:

It was finals day at the French Open in Paris on Sunday.

In the mixed doubles, Ko Sung Hyun and Kim Ha Na became the first Korean mixed doubles pair to win back to back Superseries titles.

They squeezed past Praveen Jordan and Debby Susanto of Indonesia 21-10 15-21 21-19 with the match ending in spectacular fashion.

By contrast, the men's singles final was much less competitive.

Two-time former champion Lee Chong Wei of Malaysia was generally on top - overcoming a second game fightback from his opponent - as he beat

    Taipei's Chou Tien Chen - the defending champion - 21-13 21-18 in 47 minutes.

It was Lee's 40th career men's singles Superseries title.
