Kamil Stoch wins World Cup Ski Jumping Event

    Kamil Stoch of Poland storms to victory at the World Cup ski jump event in Willingen, Germany, on Friday.

    Script:

    Willingen Germany was the venue for World Cup Ski Jumping.

    And Norway's Rune Velta had made a great start with 147.5 metres in the opening round, but he slipped to fourth place overall due to his second jump of 137.5 metres.

    Severin Freund was the highest finishing German with third place overall.

    Peter Prevc of Slovenia managed to overtake Freund with his second effort in what proved to be a literaly nail biting finish.

    However Prevc's joy was short lived as Kamil Stoch's jump immediately after secured him first place and moved him up to 11th in the standings.

    His form continues to improve after finishing Second In Sapporro Japan on the 25 January.
