    Script:

There were few surprises in the women's moguls compeitition on Sunday.

Australia's Britteny Cox took bronze with a score of 81.98.

Ahead of her was the 2013 world champion Hannah Kearney, who was awarded a mark of 85.66.

But way out in front was the Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe.

The 20-year old claimed her first world title by securing a score of 87.25 points in the superfinal.

Dufour-Lapointe's delight at securing a world title to add to her Olympic crown was there for all to see.

In the men's competition, there was a real upset.

Russia's Alexndr Smyshlyaev just did enough to take the bronze ahead of American Patrick Deneen.

Then it was the time for Anthony Benna of France to set the highest mark in the super final - awarded a score of 86.89 - leaving the 27-year old well set to make the podium for only the second time on the World tour.

But Canadian star Mikael Kingsbury was still yet to come down.

All eyes were on defending champion - and silver medalist at the Sochi Olympics - who could not quite do enough to knock Benna off top spot after making a small error on his first jump.

Instead, Kingsbury had to settle for silver with a score of 86.54, to his evident disappointment.
