    Script:

It's the French Open, but you won't find Rafael Nadal or clay courts here.

It's the badminton championship and 2014 bronze medallist Tommy Sugiarto has booked his place in the semi-final with a hard fought win over Hans-Kristian Vittinghus of Denmark.

Sugiarto took the first game with relative ease, but Vittinghus hit back to take the second despite having a few disagreements with the umpire.

His serves were called as faults, but replays show there was little wrong with them.

In the third, Sugiarto was too good for the valiant Vittinghus.

The Indonesian claiming a 21-13, 17-21, 21-18 victory in the end.

Tien Chen Chou of Chinese Taipei will be Sugiarto's opponent in Saturday's semi final.
