SOUNDBITE: (English) Mike Krzyzewski, coach of USA team

"I asked them in half time, I said: 'We need to be a mature team'. And they were. We're not this powerhouse or anything. We have good athletic ability, we play hard defensively. But we're young. And I know internationally specially is tough to win young."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Anthony Davis, USA team centre

"I just like to play hard, play with a lot of passion, a lot of energy. Coach definitely wants the rebounds to be ours. You only get one shot really so that's all we're trying to do."

SOUNDBITE: (English) James Harden, USA team small forward

"We just played the way we needed to play. In the first half they did a very good job pressuring us and making us go where they wanted us to go. And in the second half we played better."

SOUNDBITE: (English) James Harden, USA team small forward

"Yes, second half. Like I said before the first half you credit it to the Slovenians because they did an amazing job. They shot the ball well, they did everything they needed to. Then in the second half we kind of imposed our will on them."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Kenneth Faried, USA team power forward

"We all shared the ball. There's no one player, one star in the team. Everybody wants to touch the ball, everybody wants to score with the ball and tonight with six players able to score in double figures. But everybody that stepped on the court tonight was able to get a bucket."
