Brazil's Molico Osasco qualified for the final of the FIVB Women's Club World Championship after beating hosts Volero Zurich 3-1 in the first semi-final on Saturday.

Molico raced away to an early lead in the first set before being pegged back slightly but still won it 25-21.

Molico played a high-spirit game in the first set, but suddenly Volero caught fire to dominate the second set before again the Brazilian team regained their rhythm to win the third and fourth sets

After dropping the second 18-25 to Volero, the Brazilians did not look back winning the third set 25-16.

In the fourth set Molico widened the score to 22-18 as Volero fought bravely to come back as they decrease the gap to 22-20 but Molico went on to take the set 25-20 to seal their spot in Sunday's final, by a total 93 points to 82.

Molico will face Dinamo Kazan in the final after they beat South American champions SESI-SP 3-1 in their semi-final.

The Russians won the first set 25-23 but were pushed all the way in the second set, eventually losing in sudden death 27-29.

But Kazan rebounded well, taking the third set by four clear points before dominating the fourth and final set 25-14.

Kazan will now be favourites for the final after beating Molico earlier in the tournament.
