Reactions from Rafael Nadal and Grigor Dimitrov after their quarter-final competition in the Australian Open on Wednesday at Melbourne Park, Melbourne, Australia.

    Script:

Rafael Nadal progressed to the semi-finals of the Australian Open, with a four set victory over Grigor Dimitrov.

Nadal, who received treatment several times for a blister on the palm of his left hand, lost the first set 6-3. But the Spaniard showed astonishing court coverage and delicate hands at the crucial moment, to win the second tie-break.

The Bulgarian was playing in his first ever Grand Slam quarter-final and had his chances to win an extremely tight third set. But Dimitrov put an easy forehand into the tramline and Nadal took the set.

Nadal wrapped things up 6-2 in the fourth to set up a semi-final with Roger Federer and Rafa will have more than half an eye on a 14th Grand Slam title.
