"We've just been working so hard, I mean from when we started the series to where we are now, designers, engineers, shore team, every night working 'til the wee hours of the morning. And then the sailors, never ever giving up, so we did it."

"Yeah it's really very frustrating, you know we, you think back two weeks, the opposite was true, we had a, the gains that they've made is just phenomenal and you know it's a big credit to those guys, you know they've really done an amazing job to sort their boat out and probably a good thing for us that they didn't do it earlier."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Dean Barker, Emirates Team New Zealand skipper:
"I'm incredibly proud of our team and what they've achieved. I'm gutted that we didn't get the last win that we needed to take this cup back to New Zealand and it's just very hard to swallow."
