Agnieszka Radwanska's magnificent season continued at the Brussels Open.

She survived a scare against Kaia Kanepi to book her place in her 10th career WTA final.

The world number three looked down and out in the first set as the big-serving Estonian built a 5-1 lead, but Radwanska battled back to wrest the advantage and take the set on a tie-break.

In a tight second set, the Pole again found herself a break down and had to save nine further break points against her serve, but broke Kanepi twice to win 7-6 6-3 in one hour and 51 minutes.

"I was just fighting you know, and I could imagine that I could still do it and it was two breaks down - but this is clay court and everything can happen. I am just very happy that I could come back and in that second set finish the match."

She will meet world number 49 Simona Halep in the final after the Romanian beat Sweden's Sofia Arvidsson 6-4 6-3 in 80 minutes to book her place in her biggest career final to date.

The 20-year-old struggled on serve in the first set and was broken twice, but responded by breaking her opponent's serve three times to take the advantage.

Three further breaks in the second set secured victory.
