Wycombe without a number of players for Bristol Rovers clash

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth will be without a number of players as his side prepare to host Bristol Rovers on Saturday.

Striker Scott Kashket remains unavailable as he continues to serve a two-month ban for betting offences.

Fred Onyedinma and Jack Grimmer are both expected to miss out with pelvic injuries.

Ainsworth’s side will be looking to return to winning ways after last week’s defeat to MK Dons.

Bristol Rovers manager Ben Garner will assess a couple of players ahead of the trip to Wycombe.

One of those is James Daly, who has had limited training opportunities this week after joining Rovers on deadline day.

Fellow new signings Cian Harries and Timmy Abraham could also miss out, having only had one week of training.

Garner said he would be picking a squad with the best chance of winning the game, so could turn to his more experienced players.
