Doncaster Rovers vs Fleetwood Town - Summer signing Baptiste misses out for Doncaster

Doncaster’s summer signing Alex Baptiste will miss the home game against Fleetwood after rupturing an Achilles tendon.
Former QPR defender Baptiste, signed earlier this month, was carried off in last week’s draw at Rochdale and scans have confirmed the club’s worst fears.
Cameron John, who made his debut in Baptiste’s absence in the midweek Carabao Cup defeat at Grimsby, and Ben Sheaf will be vying for a place at the heart of defence.
Fellow centre-half Joe Wright has returned to training following a calf injury, but will not be rushed back.
Fleetwood boss Joey Barton has several selection dilemmas as his side bid for a third straight league win.
Barton made two changes for Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest, recalling forward pair Paddy Madden and Ash Hunter.
Conor McAleny and Josh Morris made way in midweek before stepping off the bench and Barton must decide whether to recall them to his starting line-up.
Barton has reported no new injury problems, while Ross Wallace is pushing for his first league appearance of the season.
