Reading vs Sheffield Wed - McIntyre a doubt as Reading face Sheffield Wednesday

Reading have a doubt over defender Tom McIntyre ahead of the Sky Bet Championship opener against Sheffield Wednesday.
McIntyre has not been able to train for a couple of days because of a knee problem, so continues to be monitored.
Left-back Tyler Blackett has a hamstring injury which could sideline the defender for a number of weeks, while Jordan Obita continues his rehabilitation from a long-term knee problem.
Matt Miazga has rejoined the Royals on loan from Chelsea, so should feature in the squad along with fellow new signings centre-back Michael Morrison, veteran midfielder Charlie Adam and on-loan Everton goalkeeper Joao Virginia.
Wednesday will have caretaker manager Lee Bullen in charge following Steve Bruce’s departure for Newcastle.
Forward Fernando Forestieri is available for selection following his appeal against a six-match suspension and £25,000 fine after being found guilty of using racist language during a pre-season match with Mansfield last July.
Steven Fletcher, though, is expected to lead the Owls attack having impressed during pre-season.
Defender Dominic Iorfa remains suspended following a red-card towards the end of last season, while goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith continues his recovery from a knee problem.
