REAL MADRID have dropped their biggest hint yet that Cristiano Ronaldo is leaving in the summer transfer window.

Ronaldo, 33, is the only player in the first-team squad to not have his image featured in the online club shop, sparking fresh speculation.

While 23 players and Zinedine Zidane all pose in the new Real Madrid jersey on the website, Ronaldo merely has his name and number... with no picture.

CR7 also failed to make a single appearance in Madrid's new kit unveiling, while fellow potential mover Gareth Bale did feature.

There is some speculation his no show may be due to his deal with Adidas's rival sports brand Nike, however he's appeared in the marketing for previous kit launches.

Spanish journalist and friend of Ronaldo, Nuno Gomes, believes the star will stay at the Bernabeu next season - but is unhappy with his contract situation.

Gomes revealed: "I don't think he will go, but he's annoyed that they said his deal would be renewed and with the passing of time, nothing's happened.

"He is the best player in the world. If you look at how he is paid, Cristiano is very underpaid and he wants a sign from the club like Barcelona did with Xavi, Iniesta and Messi.

"They renewed them bit by bit. That makes you happy to be happy, content and you get money from the club.

"He was promised that the club would renew and raise his wage. When he asked the club they said it wasn't the moment. The season finished and nothing happened.

"He feels a bit put out, sad because they didn't stick their their word."

Gomes went on to say that it is too soon to tell where Ronaldo would leave to should he go, but did suggest a Manchester United return could be an option.

He added: "There is not better club for Cristiano than Madrid. He likes the city. It has always been an old dream for PSG to sign him.

"Europe or PSG or a return to United, the club he has a lot of love for.

"[But] he wants to stay and he doesn't see a better club to win titles and Ballons d'Or."
