Scunthorpe forward Ivan Toney is an injury doubt for the home game against Plymouth.
Toney, on loan from Newcastle, was forced out of Saturday’s win at MK Dons and replaced by Lee Novak after sustaining a heavy knock.
Barnsley loanee Cameron McGeehan will also be assessed after he missed out on Saturday due to a knee injury.
Luke Williams (hamstring) and Jonathon Margetts (knee) remain long-term absentees.
Plymouth’s Jamie Ness has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to a hamstring injury.
Midfielder Ness will miss the clash against his former club after sustaining the injury in the closing stages of Saturday’s home win against Rotherham.
Striker Ryan Taylor (ankle), Moses Makasi (knee) and another midfielder Paul Paton (ankle) are all still out, but Lionel Ainsworth overcame a hamstring injury to step off the bench at the weekend.
Argyle will leapfrog Scunthorpe into the final play-off berth with victory.
