Remembering When Zlatan Posed With Infamous United Flag After Europa League Final

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has played his final game for Manchester United so we thought we'd hark back to one of his most memorable moments at the club.

News emerged from ESPN earlier today that the Swede is set to leave Old Trafford for the MLS this week, having struggled this season after returning from a devastating ACL injury suffered against Anderlecht in the back-end of the 2016/17 season.

The 36-year old leaves United with an impressive record of 29 goals in 53 games, 28 of which were scored in his first season in English football.

But beyond that, he brought charisma and fun and was always brilliant value in his post-match interviews and antics. In fact, one of his best moments at United came when he wasn't even in the matchday squad.

The well-travelled striker missed out on a fairytale finish when he was on crutches for the 2-0 Europa League final victory over former club Ajax at the Friends Arena in Stockholm.

Ibra was more than deserving of his medal through his contributions in the earlier rounds, and he made his mark after the game when he took a picture with an incredible flag in the United end.

It read, 'Zlatan, stay and you can shag my wife.' Sweden's all-time top scorer absolutely loved it.

Ibrahimovic recovered from his set-back ahead of time to earn a fresh deal with United, taking on the No.10 shirt after Romelu Lukaku was handed the No.9. However, he' struggled for fitness and form, featuring a mere seven times this season - with only one appearance coming from the start.

His switch to the MLS has been on the cards for a while now, with Grant Wahl from Sports Illustrated reporting that he has agreed terms with LA Galaxy, becoming their latest high-profile designated player.

Will Ibra end his playing career by ripping it up in the States?
