Udinese vs Bologna preview - One game at a time - Guidolin

Udinese head coach Francesco Guidolin has warned his team against complacency when they host Bologna on Sunday.

A year has passed since Udinese last lost a Serie A game at the Stadio Friuli - a 4-1 defeat to Juventus representing their only league setback on home turf in the 2012-13 campaign.

"Our home results last season are a good memory but that does not mean that the same will happen this year," Guidolin said.

"We have to take it one game at a time.

"This is only the start of the campaign and we will face many battles at home."

Udinese are slowly coming to terms with their surprise elimination from the Europa League play-offs.

The Italians lost 4-2 on aggregate to Slovan Liberec last month.

"There was still bitterness until a couple of days ago," Guidolin admitted. "But the international break has helped us to overcome that and look ahead.

"I certainly didn't expect to be eliminated but I have to move on and focus on our next games."

Udinese, who are still without injured defender Thomas Heurtaux and midfielder Giammpiero Pinzi, bounced back from their 2-1 defeat at Lazio on the opening day with a comfortable 3-1 triumph over Parma last time out.

Rivals Bologna go into this weekend's encounter on the back of a 2-2 draw at home to Sampdoria which followed their 3-0 setback at Napoli.

Rossoblu striker Rolando Bianchi knows his team will have their work cut out against Udinese.

"It's going to be a tough game in Udine," he said. "Guidolin's team are always hard to beat but we have to be optimistic in order to try to get a positive result.

"We still need to find our team identity and that is what our coach (Stefano Pioli) is working on.

"I think we can do great things this season but our main priority is to avoid the drop."
