    "You know after playing 22 years of football at the highest professional level, and you reach my age, you need to challenge yourself with something new. Today, I got the opportunity to play in Doha. An offer I got four years ago but I refused it because I wasn't ready for this move. I played everywhere in the world and now when I got the offer again I said to myself it is the right time to play in Qatar. I hope I can contribute in writing a small chapter in the history of football in Qatar with the support of my friends colleagues and you the media and I wish I can succeed."
