    "What I can guarantee is that we all have huge ambition, both the national squad and the technical staff. We know we are not favourites, we have to be realistic, but in football nothing is impossible. We have to think game by game, from the first match (against Spain) and throughout the group stage, which will be extremely difficult. But I think that with this group of players we have to always think big. I am confident that we will give our best, although without any guarantees, but I am sure that all of us will try our hardest, and play with the humility we showed in 2016 (when Portugal won Euro 2016), when we were also not favourites but we still won."
