  • SOUNDBITE (English): Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea midfielder (on if they have to work harder than they did in their 3-0 loss to Newcastle in the Premier League on Sunday (13th May)):

"Nowadays we know exactly what we do. We play with chips in our backs. We know when someone works really hard and when they don't. My conscience is relaxed in this. Definitely in finals you always need to bring a little bit extra. It is not always about running or being stronger like a lot of people like now days. It's about bringing quality onto the pitch. It's about sometimes being smarter than the others and this is when we need our players to perform."

SOUNDBITE (English): Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea midfielder (on playing against a Jose Mourinho side):

"It doesn't matter in that game. I love Jose (Mourinho). He has been fantastic with me since I came to Chelsea, since he signed me. Obviously not before. Since I came to Chelsea he's been fantastic with me. I love him but obviously on Saturday (19th May) I want him to lose. I want to win for Chelsea, for myself, for the fans and hopefully we can make this right."

SOUNDBITE (English): Cesc Fabregas, Chelsea midfielder (on Antonio Conte):

"He is the manager who came here in a very delicate time and difficult time at the club. I think he did a very good job at that time, putting everyone straight, putting everyone right from the off, to know he came here to win. He changed many things and we've been working on these things every single game. Every single move you see us do on the pitch, you see us do it, every day basically. We know how he wants us to play. He wants us to play this way and we have to make it happen on Saturday to achieve the victory because if we believe, I think we can do it."

SOUNDBITE (English): Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea goalkeeper (on if they want to make amends for losing the FA Cup final last season):

"I think everyone is almost the same here. We have big motivation to win and as well, we don't have a trophy this season so we want to win."

SOUNDBITE (English): Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea goalkeeper (on if they are underdogs against Manchester United):

"I think finals are always 50-50. Manchester (United) were second this season so maybe in terms of Premier League they were higher than us. I think the cup is a different competition. Finals are always 50-50. Last year we were the clear favourites to win it and we lost. In a final, anything can happen in a day. You turn up and hope you turn up the right way."

SOUNDBITE (English): Thibaut Courtois, Chelsea goalkeeper (on Jose Mourinho):

"I think he always has surprises. In the game he played against us he always had different systems. Sometimes he'd play three at the back, sometimes four. Sometimes he'd have two blockers, or two wingers. He always find something to be at his best. I just think it'll be a good game and a lot of familiar faces on the other side as well for both teams. I think and hope it'll be a good game and Chelsea are the winners."
