West Brom arrive for Premier League Asia Trophy

  • West Bromwich Albion are in Hong Kong for the Premier League Asia Trophy.

    Liverpool, Leicester City and Crystal Palace are also participting.

    It will be the eighth edition of the tournament since its inception in 2003 and Albion's first

    Tony Pulis's side face Leicester in their opening match on Wednesday.

    The winners will play either Liverpool or Crystal Palace in the final on Saturday.

    New striker Jay Rodriguez, who signed in July, is seeking his first goal for the club

    Jonny Evans is expected to captain the side, Gareth McAuley is injured.

    In 1978, West Brom were the first English professional club to travel to China.
