Part-time rally driver, Britain's Kris Meeke, won the Rally of Finland by 29 seconds from local favourite Jari-Matti Latvala on Sunday (31st July).

"A little bit crazy to be honest. This is the home of rallying. Ouninpohja is the holy grail of rally driving, to win it in the way we did from a team, to Paul in the car. I've been enjoying it like a small kid. I remember at times as a kid I was playing in a little quad car. I felt like that this weekend. Just playing and having fun. What a result. What can I say - it's just been exceptional. Yesterday morning we had to do something special. Yesterday morning I left my brain lying in the hotel somewhere, so it's been an exceptional weekend - I might have a beer tonight."
