10th-seeded Madison Keys took on Slovakia's Kristina Kucova in the second semi final of the Rogers Cup.

Simona Halep had already made it to the final for the second straight year and would be facing the winner of this one.

It was a one sided match, with Keys winning a one sided first set with ease against an opponent who struggled to get a foothold in the game. She took it 6-2.

It didn't get any easier in the second for Kucova. Her opponent run her ragged. Keys taking it 6-1 for a straight sets victory.

Delight for Keys. Her opponent the fifth-seeded Halep will face Keys on Sunday in a rematch of the Romanian player's three-set victory in the round of 16 at Wimbledon.
