  • Gary Hunt made it three wins in a row with victory at the Red Bull Cliff Diving Series in La Rochelle, France, on Saturday (23rd July).

    Gary Hunt produced an amazing comeback to win the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in La Rochelle, France, on Saturday.

    The British diver was trailing in 12th position after two rounds, but turned things around with a stunning display in the later stages.

    His performance included a Front 3 Somersaults 4 1/2 Twists, the hardest dive in the world.

    70,000 fans gathered around the Saint Nicolas Tower in the Bay of Biscay to watch Hunt attempt his spectacular dive, and they weren't disappointed.

    Joining Hunt on the podium was, American Andy Jones who made it two second places on the bounce with this impressive effort and Michal Navratil of the Czech Republic completed the podium at the spot where he finished runner-up back in 2011.
