A man was arrested when he tried to steal the Olympic Torch in Guarulhos, Sao Paulo, Brazil on Saturday (23 July).
During the parade of 40 km, a man, who was not identified, ran trying to break the line of police guarding the torch. He was immediately stopped and arrested.
The Olympic torch will be in Sao Paulo for the next few days and will arrive in Rio de Janeiro on August 4, one day ahead of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
