Cruzeiro advance to the Copa do Brasil round of 16

  • Bruno Ramires and Ramon Abila scored for Cruzeiro on Wednesday, 20 July, as the Raposa defeated EC Vitoria 2-1 and advanced to the Copa do Brasil Round of 16 on a 4-2 aggregate.

    Cruzeiro took on Esporte Clube Vitoria looking to advance to the Copa do Brasil last 16.

    Cruzeiro manager Paulo Bento was sent off in the 79th minute for arguing with the referee.

    Even without their gaffer, Cruzeiro easily held on to win and advance to the round of 16 in the Copa do Brasil.
