India's Anirban Lahiri looks ahead to the Open Championship at Troon in Scotland on Tuesday and assesses his chances at the Olympic Games in Rio.

"At the Open or at the majors even, maybe with the exception of Augusta, every year there's a new course. Whether it's the PGA, US Open or the Open Championship and I think it's more of a level playing field. The last Open here was 12 years ago, so there's not that many players who probably had the playing experience here. So it's more of a level playing field and I think that works to my advantage."

(on his chances at the 145th Open Championship)

"Well, yeah I know that I can make an impact when I play well. I have been a bit inconsistent, I haven't quite found my stride, especially on weekends... but I felt like that my game has improved, it's kind of gotten better in all departments as the season as progressed. At the end of the day, at the majors it's all about the mindset, and I seem to play my best golf at the majors because I'm so happy to be here and it's just that positivity that you need and you are going to need all of that this week."

(on the withdrawals from the field for Rio 2016)

"Well obviously, you know, it's disappointing to see so many withdrawals. I can understand the resctions to some extent, obviously I was hoping to play against a good field, a strong field, it's still pretty strong. And having said that, you know, you've just got to go out there and play your best, regardless of who's in the field. I fancy my chances and if I can play my best, I can definitely get a medal home, regardless of the strength of the field. So, it's all about how I play and hopefully I can play my best."
