"The decision to return to J bay (Jeffrey's Bay) this year. I sort of, when I decided that I was only going to do a few events, J bay was always on the cards. Even if I wasn't going to do the event, I was always going to go back. The reason why is that I've just had so many great memories there and to leave J bay on the note that happened last year, it just didn't seem right so I just want to go back and right the wrongs and just move forward with it all."

"I don't really have too many concerns. I've been to J bay so many times so I sort of know what to expect. I guess obviously the first surf is going to be a little bit tricky, just getting that through my head, but I've surfed lots of different places and I've seen sharks out in the water since then and I didn't feel too concerned it was just I would see them, then leave and get out the water, but it didn't bring up any flashbacks or any mental thing it was just 'that happened, let's move on with it."
