  • France's Thomas Pages carved his name into the record books with a spectacular fourth successive Red Bull X-Fighters win in Madrid on Friday (24th June).

Thomas Pages whipped the crowd into a frenzy at the Red Bull X-Fighters event in Madrid, as he aimed to win it for a record fourth consecutive year.

The Frenchman faced competition from the Australian duo of Clinton Moore and Josh Sheehan in a gripping final.

However, neither of the Aussies could match Pages, who wowed the crowd to win in Madrid for the fourth consecutive year.

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Thomas Pages, winner:

"I don't know why everything works out here. I guess because I'm trying to get ready as much as I can here for Madrid. Trying to bring new tricks every single year and I guess in freestyle people want to see new things, new school."

Four Madrid wins is a new record for Pages, who remains the X-Fighter king in Spain.
