Delighted Ashun Wu wins Lyoness Open

  • Reaction after China's Ashun Wu won his second European Tour title after a one-shot victory in the Lyoness Open at Atzenbrugg in Austria on Sunday (12th June).

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Ashun Wu, Lyoness Open champion:

    "I'm very, very happy right now. Very exciting so.... still unbelievable. Every player was very good today. The scores were very close. But I played very good today and my mind keep very well today too. Because.... the weather was not so good today, but it didn't affect me. So it's a great week this week, yeah."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) Richard McEvoy, finished third in the Lyoness Open:

    "I gave my self a lot of chances today. Played very, very solid..... only missed I think.... the green on the last I missed was my second of the day. So yeah, disappointed, but at the same time you know, lots and lots of positives to take from this week. (My) Game's coming together and everything is kind of piecing together to hopefully keep my game and keep competing at the highest level, yeah."

    SOUNDBITE: (English) James Morrison, finished fourth in the Lyoness Open:

    "I played fantastically well from Thursday morning all the way through to now. It's hard to say I haven't holed anything. The putters been very cold and I seemed to hole some putts when I had to at the end yesterday and today. Very pleased with how I've come on with my long game. So yeah, I'm very happy."
