'I have to play a hundred times better' - Curry

Friday, June 10 2016 by SNTV
  • Post-game reaction from Stephen Curry and LeBron James after the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Golden State Warriors 120-90 in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Sunday (8 June) in Ohio.

SOUNDBITE (English): Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors Guard

    (On why he struggled):

"It was all me. They were playing aggressive defence and they came out with a big punch. I didn't do anything about it or play my game, and for me to do what I need to do to help my team, I have to play a hundred times better than that, especially in the first quarter, to kind of control the game, and I didn't do it."

SOUNDBITE (English): LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers Forward

(On teams turning things around in Game 3):

"At the end of the day, no matter if you lose by 30 or one or, it's just one win and you have to be able to have a short mind but also learn from the mistakes that you made in the previous game and just try to better yourself in the following game. And that's we were able to do. We had a great shootaround yesterday. We had a great shootaround this morning. Coach (Tyronn) Lue and the coaching staff gave us a great game plan. And it was up to us to go out and execute that and I think we did that tonight."
