Smith not expecting any high scores

Monday, June 06 2016 by SNTV
  • Australia captain Steve Smith and West Indies spinner Sulieman Benn speak on Saturday (June 4) and look ahead to Sunday's second match in the Tri-series in Providence, Guyana.

SOUNDBITE: (English) Steve Smith, Australia captain:

"Looking at yesterday's game and I guess my thoughts before yesterday's game is that it's probably not going to be a really high scoring game, so it's about being smart, particularly through the middle overs against the spinners, making sure that we're able to rotate the strike and if we get a bad ball, put it away."

SOUNDBITE: (English) Sulieman Benn, West Indies spinner:

"I obviously haven't been getting the amount of wickets that I would have liked, hopefully that trends breaks soon, I'm still in a good position with regards to my head. The ball is coming out (of my hand) as I would like it to and I'm getting what I need to get done as far as my spells are concerned."
