On Thursday, 2nd June, United States boss Jurgen Klinsmann faced the press ahead of their Copa America Centenario opener against Colombia on Friday.

"It's a big moment for us, we are only one day for the opening of this very special copa America. We are very excited not only to host this amazing competition but obviously more from the football side, to be part of it and to play against some of the best teams of the world. Also having the opportunity to open up this competition with a game against Colombia, which is momentarily one of the best teams in the world, is a real pleasure! It's something that excites us. It's a kind of a way of showing how good we are as group and then take it from there and get as far as we can. Everybody will enjoy tomorrow night. Obviously we are very excited to have a sell out crowd."
