Simona Halep survived a scare to progress into the fourth round of the French Open on Friday.
The Sixth seed dropped the opening set against 18-year-old Naomi Osaka of Japan, before rallying back to win 4-6, 6-2, 6-3.
Halep will meet Samantha Stosur in the fourth round after the Australian got the better of last year's beaten finalist Lucie Safarova 6-3, 6-7 (0-7), 7-5.
Whilst that match was a slog, Garbine Muguruza's victory over Yanina Wickmayer was more of a procession, as the Spaniard won 6-3, 6-0 to progress.
