Barcelona right back Dani Alves says he'll be supporting Atletico Madrid in Saturday's Champions League final against Real (24th May) and is hoping to join up with the Brazil squad ahead of the Copa America Centenario as soon as he gets the all clear for a foot problem.

"I want Atletico (de Madrid) to win. Not because I am not a Real Madrid supporter and I want them to lose. I love football and as a Barcelona supporter it is obvious I prefer Atletico. I want them to win because they have worked so hard and they deserve such an important title. They have been working hard and competing as hard as they are able. Yes, I prefer them. Real Madrid already have many Champions League titles and it is time for Atletico now after all these years."
